David Turner is a Principle Research Fellow in Health Economics at the Wessex Institute, University of Southampton. He has a degree in Economics from the University of Southampton and an MSc in Health Economics from the University of York.

In the last 5 years he has had 16 peer reviewed publications. He has contributed to both clinical trials and economic models in a wide variety of disease and conditions. These include: coronary heart disease; primary care; influenza; urinary tract infections; psoriasis; atrial fibrillation; urinary incontinence; diabetes; paediatric home care; and asthma. David has worked with research design services, and their predecessors (RDSUs), in both Southampton and Leicester. He has a wide experience of working with clinical researchers to help them develop the health economics components of their research proposal.
